By launching WebSaver 7, British Gas offers a discount of 6% against standard tariff till 1st July 2011.The WebSaver 7 is offered to new as well as existing customers.
British Gas customers who wish to avail of the WebSaver 7 offer will have to manage their accounts online. They will receive paperless bills while they need to pay their bills through monthly fixed direct debit facility. In event of cancellation before 1st July 2011, customers do have to pay a cancellation fee of £30 per fuel type.
Beginning with Dual Fuel Customers, the British Gas WebSaver 7 is offered to both new as well as existing customers. In case, current British Gas customers who pay their bills through cash or cheque and switchover to Direct Debit can enjoy an additional discount of up to £73. They can also enjoy a yearly fuel discount up to £15 also. On an average, a low dual fuel user will receive an annual bill of £538, an average energy user will receive an annual bill of £899 and lastly the high energy user is likely to receive an annual bill of £1221
British Gas Customers on Only Gas offer can avail of all the advantages of Web Saver 7 can do so as it is offered to existing customers only. Moreover, they can switch to monthly direct debit facility and enjoy an additional discount of up to £35. With WebSaver 7 tariffs, annual average bills of low energy users could come up to £350, an average energy user could come up to
£602 while that of an high energy user could come up to £782.
Existing customers of Only Electricity plan of British Gas can always opt for the WebSaver 7 offer. They can additionally enjoy a discount of up to £38 in case they switch from cash or cheque mode of payment to Monthly Direct Debit facility. Moving over to average energy bill figures, a low energy user is likely to get £194 on an annual basis, the average energy user is likely to get an annual bill of £312 while the High energy user is likely to receive an annual bill of £454.
